Hi, I'm Nicole.
If you've landed here, there's a good chance something feels off. You're capable. You're accomplished. You've managed complex roles, a full life, and competing demands for years. And lately, everything seems to take more effort than it should.
You might recognize yourself in some of this: you're doing all the right things, but your energy, focus, or motivation feels unpredictable. Work that once felt challenging now feels disproportionately heavy. You're holding a lot, often without enough support. You can still perform, but the cost is higher than it used to be.

I help high-achieving people build careers and lives that sustain them — without losing the ambition that got them here.
You built a life around being the person who could carry anything. It worked, so you kept doing it, past the point anyone was thanking you for it, until it was just who you were. Learning to listen to what you actually need, and making changes in the right order so they hold, is what gets you back to something sustainable.

For nearly 30 years, I was the person who could manage anything put in front of me — 15 of those years leading design and research at Fortune 500 scale inside Amazon, Target, and Best Buy. I built and led high-performing teams. I was a single parent. I carried responsibility professionally and personally, and I knew how to rise to the moment.
Until I didn't. I experienced clinical burnout myself. What I went through wasn't a lack of ambition or resilience — it was a growing mismatch between what was being asked of me, my physiology, and the support I actually had. The harder I pushed, the more depleted I became. Like a lot of women, I initially assumed the problem was me.
Rebuilding changed how I show up, and it changed how I coach. I'm not here to help you slow down or want less. I'm here to help you keep your drive and your ambition, and build a way of working that doesn't cost you everything else to sustain it.
I'm a full-time single parent. I care deeply about equity, sustainability, and designing systems that don't extract from people. I believe burnout is often a predictable outcome of misaligned systems, not a personal weakness. I read constantly and translate complex information into usable insight. I value humor, honesty, and spaciousness in how we work together.
